We still have a need for coats, despite having handed out hundreds in the last few weeks. If you have any gently used XL, 2XL, 3XL warm non-wool coats that you no longer want, please bring them to our agency or give us a call and we'll arrange to pick them up. We have had dozens of older adults come into our agency just today who are desperate for a warm winter coat. We are seeing a serious need for large sized jackets, parkas and coats.

Eastern Area Agency on Aging has been serving seniors and their families in Penobscot, Piscataquis, Hancock and Washington counties since 1973. With a specially trained and dedicated staff, we are able to provide seniors with a variety of options, opportunities, resources and referrals. When an older person has a problem, large or small, one phone call to us is usually all it takes for the help to begin. And the majority of our services are free of charge.
